Our Story
At AP Durian, we are more than just a durian brand — we are a husband-and-wife team, Adi & Ploy, united by our passion for sharing Thailand’s most iconic fruit with the world.
Ploy was born and raised in Chanthaburi, Thailand — one of the country’s most renowned durian-growing regions. Her family has been cultivating durian for generations, and she grew up learning how to select, care for, and appreciate each variety.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Adi — originally from Israel — became actively involved in the family’s orchards. From harvesting to packaging, he embraced the process and fell in love with the fruit and the lifestyle surrounding it.
Together, we began selling homemade durian chips and other products at local Thai markets in Israel. The positive feedback inspired us to build something bigger — a brand rooted in authenticity, quality, and our personal story.
